The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been spied testing and some new details have been uncovered. Bajaj has teased the RS200 yet again and it reveals some interesting new details. The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been a favourite among the young riders ever since its launch because of its sharp design language and sporty engine. Even though it looks sporty, it has a comfortable riding posture because of the raised handlebars and upright riding position. 

Price:

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is available only in a single variant that costs Rs 1,74,419 (ex-showroom Delhi). The RS200 comes in three colour options - Burnt Red, Pewter Grey, and White.

Features:

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has a sporty and distinctive styling. The motorcycle comes equipped with a dual-projector headlight setup featuring twin LED daytime running lights (DRLs), as well as LED indicators and an LED tail lamp. The semi-digital instrument cluster might seem a bit outdated though, and it lacks smartphone connectivity, even as an option. The backlit switch cubes on the Pulsar RS200 enhance visibility during nighttime.

Engine:

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is powered by a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine based on KTM’s 200cc range, that produces 24.5PS at 9750rpm and 18.7Nm at 8000rpm, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Suspension & Brakes:

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is built on a perimeter frame. It gets a telescopic fork and a gas-charged monoshock. Braking duties are managed by a 300mm front disc and a 230mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS available as standard. It has a kerb weight of 166kg and ground clearance of 157mm. It comes with a 100-section front and 130-section rear tyre,  with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. Its fuel tank capacity is 13 litres.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 rivals the likes of the Yamaha R15 V4, KTM RC 200, Gixxer SF 250 and Karizma XMR. In the similar performance range, you can also check out the KTM 200 Duke or the Yamaha MT-15 Version 2.0.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is Bajaj’s only fully faired motorcycle and it looks unique and bold compared to other sport bikes. It gained its popularity among young riders when it was first launched for its sporty vibe and cool design.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 looks sharp and has a very unique design. It has twin projector headlights, a sculpted fuel tank and a split-seat setup that give it a very aggressive stance.

Engine, Mileage & Performance

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is equipped with a 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 24.5PS and 18.7Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine is quite capable as it is a result of Bajaj-KTM partnership and is based on KTM’s 200cc engine that powers the KTM 200 Duke. The Pulsar RS200 gets a 13-litre fuel tank and offers a real-world tested mileage of 35kmpl. The motorcycle performs quite well while commuting in the city and feels stable on the highways even at higher speeds.

Handling & Ride Quality

The Pulsar RS200 has great handling characteristics and the suspension setup is well-tuned. It can easily weave through city traffic or handle curvy roads. It's comfortable to ride, striking a good balance between sporty handling and comfort.

Comfort

Even though it looks sporty, the Pulsar RS200 gives you a comfortable riding experience with its raised clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs and an upright riding position. The split seats are well-padded, allowing you to tour for long hours without getting tired. While the passenger is comfy compared to other bikes in this segment, the grab rails are basically a hollowed-out space inside the rear panel instead of conventional grab rails, which makes it a bit less secure.

Features

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 comes equipped with a semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-projector headlights with LED DRLs, along with LED indicators and taillights. It gets dual-channel ABS as standard. The bike hasn’t received any significant update in terms of features in the past few years, except for the backlit switchgear. Bajaj should’ve at least updated the instrument console with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation by now.

    Pulsar rs 200
    It’s been 6 years and I have enjoyed riding this bike which has perfect riding posture. The finishing and the outlook of this bike is just fabulous. I recommend this bike for daily and long trip use. Remember the maintenance cost is bit higher when the bike ages but actually making your bike serviced every 3 months and maintaining the engine oil replacement could make your maintenance cost low.

    This bike is good for showing attitude and like a hero material but once you taking this bike then the real face of the bike show and not good for other sources. But....
